IMPORTANT INFORMATION and ADVICE I fully understand that the majority of people who are planning to buy a car are not technically minded and lack experience in this area because after all buying a car is not exactly an every day experience. Therefore it can prove difficult when choosing a suitable car. The following few words will, I hope, ease that burden and put your mind at rest. Most people would agree that reliability and condition of bodywork should come near to the top of the priorities to be considered when choosing a car. There are, of course, many other considerations. We therefore take a number of steps to help you make the right decision to buy a car that you will be satisfied with. I am very aware that the market is full of cars of varying standards. Especially the private market which is in my experience an absolute minefield because there is no guarantee if, unbeknown to you, you buy a car of inferior quality. Consequently I spend a lot of time and a lot of effort is put into choosing the very best cars for resale. My practical experience of Minis goes back to 1968 and I am therefore able to make good use of this resource. I travel to all corners of the UK when searching for Minis and often return empty-handed, sometimes having done as much as a 400 mile round-trip. This is because the vehicles I have looked at are below the standard that I would expect my customers to accept. I travel up to 40,000 miles a year searching through hundreds of cars to find the best. The Mini you purchase from us undergoes a pre-sales inspection before we hand it over to you. This is a very thorough check and any faults we discover are rectified. When you purchase a Mini from us you receive a signed copy of the inspection, listing our findings and any necessary repairs carried out. We believe that it is far better to rectify a problem before you receive the car rather than cause inconvenience to both yourself and us in having to put things right after you have purchased the Mini.
Each car we sell has a 12 month MOT at point of sale. A 12 month nationally applicable, unlimited mileage parts and labour warranty is available for all Minis under 20 years old and under 70,000 miles when sold. It is stated in the car's description on our stock list which Minis are included in the warranty scheme. Repairs under the warranty can be carried out at any VAT registered garage in the UK. All services printed in italics are available at no extra cost to you within the purchase price. The above services do not apply to restoration projects. Cars sold for export are not warranted nor will they have a MOT. If you are still uncertain about what you are buying and would like a second opinion we welcome independent inspections of our Minis prior to sale. When you have purchased your Mini we are still available for after sales servicing, advice and help about anything that you require to do with your Mini. We would also recommend highly that you take advantage of our offer to carry out rust prevention treatments to your Mini. This will be the most worthwhile money you will ever spend on your Mini. For detailed information about this please visit our web site under the modifications section or ask for a leaflet. I hope that this has been useful in helping you make a decision in choosing the Mini most suitable for you. If I can be of further help or if there is anything that you are uncertain about please ask.
